WHAT: Join Renee Ursitti (Adult Services and Circulation Librarian, Ilsley Public Library) and MALT staff for a lively book discussion of Barbara Kingsolver’s Flight Behavior. We will meet in Otter Creek Gorge underneath an ancient and beloved oak tree (the large oak with a swing), a short walk away from the northern parking lot on Morgan Horse Farm Rd. Readers of all ages are welcome! Light refreshments will be provided. No bathrooms on site; please plan accordingly.
Barbara Kingsolver’s seventh novel, Flight Behavior, follows the story of Dellarobia Turnbow, a young mother and wife living on a failing farm in rural Tennessee. Dellarobia makes a momentous discovery that draws international attention from climate scientists, environmentalists, and world leaders, catapulting her into the center of conflict.
