WHAT: Join MALT and Catherine Miller, the observatory specialist at Middlebury College, to view one of the oldest known meteor showers! Miller and her team of student interns will guide us in a watch party to observe the Lyrids Meteor Shower, an annual meteor shower named for its proximity to the constellation Lyra. Materials, such as telescopes, will be provided by the college for the best and clearest image of these awe-inspiring meteors. Come observe this fascinating natural phenomena with some of Middlebury College’s best observatory staff and technology!

CANCELLATION POLICY: MALT operates programs outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. If weather conditions are hazardous (lightning, sustained winds >30m.p.h.), MALT may cancel the program. If that is the case, you will receive notification via email.
