WHAT: We're excited to announce the return of this annual event! MALT welcomes folks for a morning of bird banding with Audubon Vermont Biologist Mark LaBarr. You’ll get the chance to get hands-on with birds while contributing to a better understanding of their life cycles and migration patterns.
While Mark teaches the art of banding, Otter Creek Audubon Society volunteers will lead activities for families and youth. After the birding and banding ends, there will be a small picnic, so bring some delicious food if you'd like to relax and socialize amidst the bird song. Light refreshments provided by MALT.
Event Highlights:
Family friendly
No bird banding experience required!
CANCELLATION POLICY: MALT operates programs outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. If weather conditions are hazardous (lightning, sustained winds >30m.p.h.), MALT may cancel the program. If that is the case, you will receive notification via email.
