Wright Park, donated to the Town of Middlebury by Willard Jackson and managed by MALT, includes a network of nearly 4 miles through fields, heavily wooded forests, and a quiet section along the Otter Creek.

HURD Grassland

Newly preserved, this natural grassland is located in Weybridge, VT past Otter View Park on Route 23 heading towards Weybridge. It’s also a local favorite spot for bird watchers!

Otter View Park is sixteen acres of wetlands, scenic vistas, and opportunities to view wildlife. The park is managed for protection of natural communities as well as recreational and educational opportunities.

Otter creek Gorge Preserve

Otter Creek Gorge Trail is a 2.6 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Middlebury, Vermont that offers the chance to see wildlife and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and trail running.
